 SSPQ-P series (originally ZV-B series) dual  line distributor applies to the grease or oil dual line concentrated  lubricating system with PN of 40MPa as a unit of calculating grease feeding. By  alternate grease supply by two main supply pipelines, it realizes feeding  grease to piston and completes the function of quantitatively distributing  grease to each lubricating point. The distributor has three types:  distributor with grease feeding screw,  distributor with moving indicator adjusting unit and distributor with travel  switch adjusting unit.

  1. Distributor with grease feeding screw: the  feeding volume cannot be adjusted which only can be altered by selecting the  grease feeding screw with different feeding indicator.

  2. Distributor with moving indicator adjusting  unit: the feeding volume can be adjusted between 0 and the rated feeding volume  and that whether distributor is working normally or not can be judged by  observing the moving indicator adjusting unit.

  3. Distributor with travel switch adjusting unit:  the feeding volume can be adjusted between 0 and the rated feeding volume, and  the grease feeding condition of lubricating points can be controlled by travel  switch to send a signal. Only one limit switch adjusting unit can be equipped  for a distributor.

The options  of “Collocation with” are: 1, grease feeding screw; 2, moving indicator  adjusting unit (limitator); 3, travel switch adjusting unit. The flow of one  outlet is double as “Flow of each outlet” when the outlet quantity is odd. Use  grease with minimum cone penetration 220(25℃,150g) 1/10mm (NLGI0#~3#) or lubricating  oil with minimum viscosity grade N68. Working environment temperature is -20~80℃.

. Working principle

There is a control piston and a working piston  respectively in the piston holes that connect dual line distributor and every  two lubricating points. The two feeding ports are connected to the two main  pipelines 3a and 3b respectively. When one pipeline is pressurized, the other  one will unload.
As shown in the above figure, the lubricating  grease delivered by pump enters the upper part of control piston of distributor  through main pipeline 3a. The control piston moves downward first (then the  lubricating pressed at the lower part of control piston enters the unloading  main pipeline 3b), making the upper chamber of working piston connect to the  upper chamber of control piston. Then working piston moves downward, and the  lubricating grease pressed by working piston is pressed and delivered to grease  outlet 6 through the ring groove of control piston and supplied to lubricating  points. A cycle of feeding work is completed. The second feeding work will  start after switching to the feeding of pipeline 3b. Pistons of distributor  will do the above acts adversely in the same sequence and lubricating grease  will be discharged and delivered through outlet 5.

. Use  instruction

  1. Protective cover should be used in the  environment where it is wet and severe with dust.

  2. Parallel installation method is employed  preferentially in the system of grease feeder. The pipeline and distributor can  be connected either at the left side or the right side; in the next place it is  to employ series installation method when the two G3/8 screw plugs that plug  pipelines at a side of feeding mouth should be dismantled and the number of  feeders in series should not be more than two. Series and parallel group  installation can also be employed if necessary.

  3. The feeding volume of distributor with grease  feeding screw (SSPQ1) cannot be adjusted which only can be altered by selecting  the grease feeding screw with different feeding indicator.

  4. The feeding volume of distributor with moving  indicator adjusting unit (SSPQ2) should be adjusted by rotating the adjusting  screw of restrictor when the indicating rod retracts according to the actual  needs of lubricating points and within the range of max & min feeding  volume.

  5. The feeding volume of distributor with travel  switch adjusting unit (SSPQ3) should be adjusted as required when the  indicating rod retracts.

  6. When the number of feeding mouths is odd,  loosen off the screws at the corresponding grease outlets and plug the idle  outlet with G1/4 screw plug, so that the upper and the lower grease outlets are  connected. Grease will be supplied from this grease outlet both at the forward  and adverse act of piston.

  7. For the convenience of dismantling, it is  better to bend the pipelines from distributor to lubricating points to be 90°  or use bayonet joint.

  8. The surface contacting the distributor should  be smooth and flat. It is not suggested to over tighten the installed screw  bolt to avoid severe deformation which may influence normal working.

  9. It is suggested to select GB70-85 screw M6*50  to install and fix type SSPQ1 and SSPQ2 distributors. It is suggested to select  GB70-85 tailor-made screw M6*85 to install and fix type SSPQ3 and the 300mm  backing plate should be placed between the installing surfaces.


. Resolution to  common faults

  1. Distributor does not work.
       Check if there is pressure grease delivered in the grease supply pipeline or  not; if lubricating point is plugged or not; if grease supply pipeline is  pressed flat; if impurities enter grease feeder. Resolve them after the reason  is found out and removed.

  2. Leakage at the moving indicator adjusting unit.
       Dismantle the restrictor body, and check if seal ring has been used for a too  long time or it is used in an higher environmental temperature than specified  or not. Replace seal ring after the reason is found out.


. Ordering instruction

  1. For distributor with grease feeding screw  (SSPQ1), grease feeding indicator should be specified in the sequence of every  couple of grease outlets. If not specified, goods will be supplied based on  grease feeding indicator 1.

  2. For distributor with moving indicator adjusting  unit (SSPQ2), only one limit switch adjusting unit is equipped. Limit switch  adjusting unit can be equipped for every couple of grease outlets based on  special requirements. The equipping number should be specified and they should  be ordered separately.

  3. For the distributor with the number of grease  outlets being odd, the location of the idle grease outlet should be specified  in the sequence of every couple of grease outlets. If not specified, goods will  be supplied based on that the grease outlet on the right is plugged.

  4. If distributor is to be used in an  environmental temperature higher than 80 °C, please specify it in the ordering  contract so that high temperature resistant grease seal will be provided.
