 Type JPQ (D) progressive distributor is  composed of the head block A, working block M and end block E to form a  distributor group.  The number of working  blocks can be selected based requirements which can be three pieces at least  and up to 10 pieces at most. There are two grease outlets on each working  block, so the number of grease outlets of each distributor group is between  6-20. That is to say, each distributor group can serve 6-20 lubricating points.  The volume of grease supply can be determined in accordance with the data  listed in the Model and Specification Table. If a large or quite large volume  of grease is required at a lubricating point in a cycle grease supply, the  method shown in Fig. A3 can be taken. Take out the closed screw within the  working block, and add a screw plug at the grease outlet, thus uniting the  grease of two outlets to one grease outlet.
 It should be noted that the united grease  supply volume is the grease volume specified by the next working block model in  the working block sequence (Please see the schematic diagram). If the grease  volume of the two united outlets still cannot meet the requirements, the method  shown in Fig. A4 can be taken: Add a 3-way or 2-way bridge type joint to  collect the grease volume from several outlets to meet the need.

Explain: Assemble the  progressive distributor as first inlet part-A, working part-M, last part-E in  order from left to right.  


. Working principle

A1. Progressive distributor

As shown in Fig. A1, pressure grease enters distributor group through grease feeding mouth, and grease enters the left chamber of plunger “Ⅱ” through the left passage of plunger “Ⅰ ”, pushing plunger “Ⅱ” to the right. The grease in the right chamber of plunger “Ⅱ” is output from grease outlet “1 ” through the right passage of plunger “Ⅰ ”.  In the meanwhile, the left passage of plunger “Ⅱ” is connected. Grease enters the left chamber of plunger “Ⅲ”, pushing plunger “Ⅲ” to the right. The grease in the right chamber is output from grease outlet “2” through the right passage of plunger “Ⅱ”. Now, the left passage of plunger “Ⅲ” is connected. Grease enters the right chamber of plunger “Ⅰ” (see Fig. A1), pushing plunger “Ⅰ” to the left. The grease in the left chamber of  plunger “Ⅰ ”is output from grease outlet “3 ” through the right passage of plunger “Ⅲ” .

As shown in Fig. A2 and according to the grease delivery lines in the above example, when plunger “Ⅱ ” and plunger “Ⅲ” are pushed to the left,  The grease in the left chamber of plunger “Ⅱ” and “Ⅲ” is output from grease outlet “4 and 5 ” through the left passage of plunger “Ⅰ ” and “Ⅱ ”.  In the meanwhile, the right passage of plunger “Ⅲ” is connected. Grease enters the left chamber of plunger “Ⅰ ” through the right passage, pushing plunger “Ⅰ ” to the right. The grease in the right chamber is output from grease outlet “6” through the left passage of plunger “Ⅲ”.

A2. A cycle of grease supply is completed according to the above steps. The grease delivery at each grease outlet is quantitative and is completed in cycles.

A3. Progressive distributor can be monitored in use. If monitoring is needed by users, it is required to specify the distributor with contact rod (or with monitor) behind the marks.
